French Dressing
Once upon a time, a hungry little girl ordered a salad. "What type of dressing would you like?" the server kindly asked. The little girl replied, "the orange kind, please." Why ordering 'the orange kind' doesn't fly as an adult ponders me.
French Dressing always takes me back to childhood snacks, dipping orange veggies into orange dressing; it's still my favorite on Cobb salads.
Elements
1 C Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
2/3 C Organic Ketchup
2/3 C Organic Cane Sugar
1/2 C Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tsp Paprika
3 Shallots, finely diced
2 Tsp Sea Salt
1 Tsp Black Pepper
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
Chill and serve!
Pairs well with grilled asparagus and baked chicken tenders.
